Second Saturday Sampler session 10

For this block you will use:

6) white 4" squares
2) white 3 1/2" squares
3) green 4" squares
2) green 3 1/2" squares
3) pink 4" squares

Draw a diagonal line on the back of all six of the white (4”) squares.

Place the three green squares, right sides together and outside edges aligned, with three of the 4” white squares.  Do the same with the 4" pink squares.  Sew ¼ inch on each side of the drawn lines.  Cut apart on the line.  Square to 3½ inches and press toward the print.

Use the photo at top to assemble and sew the block.

Becky found an idea on pinterest the other day that she fell in love with.  Since we have a couple of daughters that needed a place to hang their Christmas stockings they all got together for a little Mother/Daughter craft day and each re created the pinterest idea as well as several other crafts.  They had a great time.  Following is a photo of the project all ready and waiting to hang the Christmas stockings on.

It's amazing what you can create with a little time and some leftover framing materials!

They each created a set of these fun holiday throw pillows as well.  I think a good time was had by all.

Hope you have a wonderful holiday season.
