February Mystery Quilt

The February mystery quilt is done!

As usual, the colors are more vibrant in real life but hopefully, this gives you a good idea.

We added 8 blocks to the mystery pattern to make it a little larger.  We do have a limited number of extension kits if you like the larger size.

Please be aware that we will be closed the first week of March as we will be vending and teaching at the Spring Quilt retreat at Bryce Canyon.  We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

We will post a photo of the March mystery fabrics as soon as we find them.

Have a great day!

Second Sat. Sampler block 10

For this block you will need:

4) 4-inch green squares

4) 4-inch pink squares

4) 3 1/2-inch green squares

2) 3-inch rose gold squares

2) 3-inch black floral squares

4) 2 1/2-inch rose gold squares

1) 2 1/2-inch black floral square

Draw a diagonal line on the back of each of the 4-inch pink squares.  Place these with the 4-inch green squares making sure the right sides are together and the outside edges are aligned.  Sew 1/4 inch on both sides of the drawn line.  Cut on the line and trim to measure 3 1/2 inches square.

Repeat the half square triangle process using the 3-inch rose gold and black floral squares.  Trim the resulting half square triangles to measure 2 1/2 inches.

Assemble and sew the half square triangles and remaining components to create the block as pictured above.

Happy sewing!
