April Mystery quilt
Today is mystery quilt day!
So sorry we couldn't provide a kit for everyone that requested one.
Becky designed this fat quarter quilt to look good and be functional. It works up with a minimum amount of time and effort so you can feel good about actually taking it camping or throwing it out on the lawn for a picnic.
The quilt finishes about 71 1/2 x 71 1/2 inches. With only four additional fat quarters you can create a twin size quilt.
Kits may vary slightly.
Please pick up your kits within a week. Kits not prepaid will be released to those on the waiting list a week from today. (Please call if you need to make other arrangements - 801-465-9133.)
We are excited to be using the Clover Hollow collection from Moda for the May mystery quilt.
Doesn't it look like Spring and Sunshine?
Call soon to reserve your kit.

2020 Second Sat. Sampler begins
Block One
Thank you for joining us on another quilting journey.
For this block you will need:
4) 4" blue squares
4) 4" red squares
4) 4" background squares
4) 3 1/2" background squares.
Draw a diagonal line on the back of each of the 4" background squares and two of the 4" red squares.
Place the two red squares with two of the blue squares making sure the right sides are together and the outside edges are aligned. Sew 1/4 inch on each side of the drawn line. Cut on the line. Square the triangles to 3 1/2 inches. Clip the excess corners of the seams and press.
Match the 4" background squares to the remaining blue and red squares. Repeat the process described above to create 8 more half square triangles.
Arrange and sew the half square triangles and 4 corner squares as in the photo at the top of the post to create the block.
Happy sewing!

A couple of things
We hope you are all healthy and happy! We have heard that many of you are completing some projects as you heed the suggestion to stay at home. Way to go!
It is the first of another month. We are offering select fabric for only $5.55 per yard. In order to avoid a big crowd on Friday we are expanding the sale to Wednesday through Friday. Please help us observe the guidelines for social distancing. If needed, we may limit the number of folks in the shop at any one time. We are regularly wiping down the doorknobs and frequently touched areas to help keep us all safe.
For those who would prefer not to come into the shop we are happy to cut what you need from the bolts pictured above. You can call us at 801-465-9133 and tell us what you want. We can take payment over the phone and run it out to the curb when you are ready to pick it up.
We are also offering 10% off all kits and pre-cuts Wed. through Friday.
We will be closed this Saturday so please plan accordingly.
And a final note. We will be using the "Gone Camping" collection for the April mystery quilt.
Becky is planning a quick quilt that you won't feel badly about someone actually taking on a picnic or camping.
Stay well.
