March Mystery fabric

 

We will be using fabric from the "Shades of Summer" collection for the March Mystery quilt.

February mystery quilt revealed

 

The February mystery kits are ready.  We are thrilled with the quilt!  Hope you love it too.  The quilt finishes 55 1/2 inches by 70 1/2 inches.

 We have a daughter that works at Seagull Book.  The pillow in the bottom right corner will be available at Seagull book on March 1.  (She was able to get us one a little early.)  It compliments the quilt nicely.

And speaking of complimenting the quilt - the panel below is part of the collection and works perfectly with the quilt.  

 The panels are only $7.50.  You know you need one.

We have yardage available if you would like to add borders.  It will be available on a first come basis until it is gone.

 Wow!  We are almost done with this quilt.  We hope you are all enjoying the process. 

 For this block you will need: 

2) 4 inch plum squares

2) 4 inch cream print squares 

6) 4 inch green squares

6) 4 inch cream squares

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Draw a diagonal line on the back of each of the 4 inch cream and light print squares.  Match each of the green squares with a plain cream square making sure the right sides are together and the outside edges are aligned.  Sew 1/4 inch on each side of the drawn line.  Cut on the drawn line.  Square to 3 1/2 inches and press toward the green. 

Match the 2) light print squares with the plum squares.  Repeat the process to create 4 half square triangles.

Arrange as in the photo above to create the block.
