We have reached the finish line, block 12 - the last block of this series. Thanks so much for joining the fun.
For this block you will need:
8) 4" light squares
8) 4" dark/medium squares.
Draw a diagonal line on the back of each of the 4" light squares. Match these to the 4" dark/medium squares making sure the outside edges are aligned and the right sides are together. Sew 1/4 inch on each side of the line. Cut on the line. Trim to 3 1/2 inches and press toward the darker print. Arrange and sew together as shown in the photo.
We would love to hear about your quilts as you complete them. We are so grateful to share in the journey with you.
We are working on an exciting new Saturday Sampler quilt that will begin in May.
Becky felt the need to create a quilt that celebrates women throughout history. We are calling the quilt "Women of Faith and Courage". Each block will represent a woman from history whose life lessons continue to be examples for us today. Our hope is to share a little about the lives of these women and their contributions as we present each block through the coming year.
The quilt uses 1800s reproduction fabric to create a time-honored, traditional feel.
Here is a peek of the quilt in progress.

$30.00 will get you all 13 blocks. As in the past, we plan to have finishing kits available as soon as possible. The cost for these will be determined as we finish the quilt and have a firmer idea of what will be required.
The slots are filling up fast, we are a little more than half full so give us a call to reserve your space. We'd love to have you join us.
