November mystery quilt
With this being Thanksgiving week we figured it might be nice to have the mystery kits ready a little early. You are welcome to stop in and pick them up today if you would like.
We kept the quilt fairly simple to show off the beautiful prints in the collection.
We chose to add an optional border which makes the quilt about 67 x 83 1/2 inches.
We will be using the Juniper collection for our December mystery quilt. Since the last Tuesday in December falls on New Years Eve we will pass out the kits on Monday, Dec. 30th.
Thank you for your support. As we take a moment to think of our blessings we count you among them.
The shop will be closed this Thursday through Saturday as we celebrate Thanksgiving and spend a little extra time with our family.
Happy Thanksgiving!

October mystery quilt revealed today
Look at the wonderful quilt Becky made with the Serenade layer cake.
It involves a small amount of simple, raw edge applique and some quick patches. Didn't it turn out cute?
We want to thank all of you who chose to participate. We had great sign ups for this month's quilt.
We liked the quilt so well that we created a Christmas version replacing the flowers with Christmas trees. We have one Christmas kit left and will be happy to pass it on to the first person who requests. (We will be ordering more so don't panic just yet.)
We will be using fabric from the Penny Rose collection "Majestic" for the November mystery quilt. If you like it sign up soon.

September Mystery Quilt
It is the last Tuesday of September. That means it is time for another mystery quilt reveal and here it is.
Becky replaced one of the blocks in the quilt with a pieced kitty block. I think it adds a fun little punch to the cat themed quilt.
We have cut accessory kits for the kitten head if you like the addition it makes to the quilt.
We have a few extra kits available for the regular retail price of $49.95 if you love the quilt but forgot to sign up ahead.
We plan to use fabric from the Serenade line by Riley Blake for the October mystery. Call us at 801-465-9133 to reserve your kit.
Thanks so much for your support and friendship. You make us happy to come to work every day.

July Mystery Quilt
The July mystery quilt is now available.
Isn't it romantic?
The quilt finishes about 60 x 72 inches. The quilt is constructed with 18 inch big blocks so it goes together pretty quickly. We added a six inch border to make it twin size.
We have ordered fabric from the Pinewood Acres collection for the August mystery quilt.
We have been doing a monthly mystery quilt for only $29.00 for about ten years now. We truly appreciate your participation. As the price of fabric has gone up it has become increasingly difficult to find fabric to fit the $29.00 price range. Beginning next month (August 2019) the mystery quilts will be $34.00 - still a great price for a quilt top.
And now a reminder. This Friday, Aug. 2 is $5.55 First Friday. We are adding more bolts to the shelves so come and see what you can find at a great price!
See you soon.

June Mystery Quilt revealed
June has been a busy month for us. Becky managed to get the June Mystery quilt off of the machine this morning before too many people came in to pick up their kits.
Love the way it turned out!
I think it fairly shouts, "tradition".
Part of the busyness of the past few weeks has been preparing for our missionary who comes home this week. The shop will be closed on Friday and Saturday so we can pick him up from the airport and spend a little time with him. We hope this doesn't inconvenience anyone too much.
Becky made him a quilt to throw on his bed but then ended up sending it to him to present to his Mission President and his wife.
Guess where he served? We ended up making another one for Hunter as well.
In the busyness of it all we have not had time to find fabrics for the July mystery quilt so please watch the blog. We will post photos as soon as we can.
One last item. The first Friday in July falls on the day after Independence day and we realize that some of you will be gone for the long weekend. We will still be having the sale but have decided to continue it on the second Friday of the month as well. So - we will be offering fabric for only $5.55 per yard on both of those Fridays. Come and get some.
Have a great holiday and Happy Quilting!
Kelly and Becky

May mystery photo
Sorry we are a little behind getting a photo posted of the May mystery quilt but here it is.
The quilt finishes about 54 x 63 inches. We chose to make ours a little larger to fit a bed.
I love the traditional colors and flannel feel of the brushed homespun fabric.
We have wanted to create a two color mystery quilt for some time now. The time has come. The June mystery quilt will be a very traditional two color quilt. We will be creating ours in the white and mustard color shown. We will also be offering a red/white and blue/white color option.
The quilt will be beautiful! Give us a call to reserve yours today.

April fabrics are shown below. It's sure to be another cute one.
Call us at 801-465-9133 to reserve your kit.
