January Mystery quilt and other stuff

The January mystery quilt is ready if any of you would like to come and get it a little early.

It's another fun and done jelly roll project with a little bit of optional applique.  Having the 2 1/2 inch strips already cut saves so much time and effort.

We need to make you aware of a few other things.

The shop will be closed February 3 through 8th as we will be participating in the annual Winter Quilt Retreat at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon.  Since this falls on the second Saturday we will plan on having those blocks ready for you to pick up later this week if you would like.  Of course, you can always pick them up later as well.  We only have two blocks left to finish the quilt!  Watch for the next one that will be starting soon.

The retreat also falls on our regular First Friday sale.  We have decided to do the sale this Friday (the 31st) as well as the Friday after the retreat (Feb. 14th). You are welcome to come either day (or both if you like) and select some great fabric at the wonderful price of only $5.55 per yard.

One final but important item.  We know that all quilters are generous and giving.  We have been made aware that our local veteran's home is in need of more quilts.  They would prefer patriotic themed quilts that measure 63 x 87 inches.  If you are interested in donating we can provide you with specifics.  Thanks so much for your help!

Have a great day and happy quilting!
