Second Sat. Sampler block 11

For this block you will need:
6) 4" background squares
6) 4" red squares
4) 3 1/2" blue squares

Draw a diagonal line on the back of each of the background squares.

Match a background square to each of the red squares with the right sides together and the outside edges aligned.  Sew 1/4 inch on each side of the drawn line.  Cut on the line.  Square each section to 3 1/2 inches and trim the excess points of the seams.  Press toward the print.

Assemble the resulting 1/2 square triangles and 3 1/2 inch squares as pictured above to create the block.

We have finishing kits left if anyone wants to complete the quilt like ours.

We need to let you know the shop will be closed Feb. 3 - 8 as we will be participating in the annual retreat at Ruby's Inn near Bryce Canyon.  The kits are ready now if you would like to pick them up early.  Of course, you are welcome to pick them up after Feb. 9th as well.

Thanks!
